Kombucha is a fermented tea that is made by adding a symbiotic culture of
bacteria and yeast to sweetened tea. The mixture is then left to ferment during which time the bacteria and yeast consume the sugars in the tea and produce various organic acids, vitamins, and other beneficial compounds. The resulting liquid is slightly sparkling and has a slightly sour, slightly sweet taste. It is often consumed as a health drink due to the beneficial microorganisms that are produced during the fermentation
process. We use green tea and sugar to make our kombucha base and we flavour
and add other ingredients to add extra flavour and added health benefits
